SAM – Smart AUV-Based Magnetic
The SAM project is developing smart and autonomous systems for the AUV-supported detection of ferromagnetic objects such as old munitions. Using in-situ magnetic measurements, the SAM routines independently control navigation waypoints or complete search patterns. The main areas of application are the automated detection of explosive ordnance in offshore areas and the monitoring of pipelines, cable routes, ports and sea routes.
Our tasks
TransMarTech SH GmbH was commissioned to conduct a market analysis in order to identify market structures and relevant players. Initial research into business areas, competitors and target groups was followed by qualitative interviews to verify key assumptions. The results were presented in a summary with recommendations for action.
